What should I do with his oak mantel, paint to match vanilla crown or dark stain to match kitchen floor and fan? Maybe paint the columns and stain the top? Should I put a feature wall, maybe wood, above it and carry it to crown? Really don’t want to change the tile because it matches the foyer tile in our home. Just looking for fireplace mantel and wall above. Wall above to vaulted is 3’ on short end and 4.5’ on tall end. Just finished painting the whole room along with the crown from oak to vanilla, Thanks
