Omphalodes sp. perhaps.

Don't know about it being that genus but same family at any rate.

There are two such plants, about five feet apart, in the woods. Don't know where they came from. Are they invasive? I'm currently searching borage family to see if this plant is native.

I think it's Cynoglossum virginianum. Even if you do want this plant, best environmental practice is to leave wild plants where you find them.

Cynoglossum virginianum is anothe possibility.

I think Cynoglossum virginianum (wild comfrey) is the most likely. Once you three started me on Borage family, it narrowed to Cynoglossum virginianum and some Myosotis spp. The leaves of Myosotis are too small.

In any case, both are introduced and not wanted. They're on my property.
