Nope It will make it very dark in the house.

This is a great looking home. It doesn't really require the shutters. Are you looking for a front porch? Why not relax on a patio in the back?

Agreed, remove the shutters or paint them a darker color.

Remove the shutters and I agree you have a lot of gables already so unless someone can come up with the proper look for the house I would leave it.

I like the shutters, but think also that the would looks best painted the same as window frames. Nice house👍

Thanks for the responses!! I love our new home but would like to add a touch that would update it a bit! I will work the the suggestion to paint the shutters same color as window frames!
