I would take the color from your island. You don't want to compete with the blue green of the other room. How about Virtual Taupe SW7039? If you don't want to go that deep, how about a shade lighter: Moth Wing SW9174? I'm afraid you may have to do a bit of searching. In the link below, each color has similar colors, so you can search that way as well.

I think the color you have now looks fine. If you want to change it, then do something completely different. Maybe a dark blue or green, charcoal gray, brick red. Kitchens usually don't have much wall space, so painting them a more saturated or darker color provides a nice contrast to the white cabinets. Painting another beige-y neutral or light gray isn't worth the effort.

Whatever color is in your dining room, I would do a shade darker than that. I think it would be gorgeous in your kitchen.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it! I like the color green in our dining room too or a more saturated color for the kitchen. Also, our kitchen open to the family room, so there are no real good breaks to start a different paint color. At least the wall with the curtains has no real break. I will add more pictures.
