Thanks for the comments! Regarding task lighting under cabinets - yes, that will be included here, but might be hard to see on the rendering.

Regarding switches, I will be using a hybrid wireless system. Lutron RA2. So basically I will be hiding many of the main loads in unfinished space and controlling using the RA2 6-button keypads. So this should cut down on switching issues.

the reason I ask is because there is a lot going on here and you may not need to have all the recessed on at once for example.

Also, regarding the cab lights in your question, groups of cans are on separate switches. For example, cans over shuffleboard, cans over sectional, cans over bar, cans over open areas, wall washers near pool table would all be on separate loads.

I strongly dislike overhead lights in living spaces. They are not the least bit cozy, more like an office building or hospital exam room. If it were my space I'd figure out how to incorporate table and floor lamps in the lounge area(s) and either reduce or eliminate those ceiling cans. They're fine in task zones (kitchens, bathrooms) and areas that require excellent lighting (pool table) but perhaps reconsider them in main living space.

Ceiling cans come in more stylish formats than the sketching software allows for. Particularly popular in modernist homes are small LED single and double squares. Or even lights slipped into ceiling insets.
