I'm noticing that, arcy_gw. Was hoping to find the series on a family bathroom remodel only to realize she wrapped it up in 3 short videos. Still, it's a glimpse into her process.

I love Sarah and don't know who I miss more. Her or Tommy. There was always a good belly laugh in each episode.
Told my husband, if I ever get a terminal illness, Sarah redoing a room in the house will be my final wish.

I have always liked her style but I thought this was a bit of a fail.

I watched about half of it so I may be wrong. A lot of these desks she shows have no real utility. They are charming but simply way too small. And I say this as one who uses just a laptop and doesn't like a lot of paper... still I have baskets and folders and a lamp and writing implements and mail and .... Even for kids many of the desks are silly. The fact is my kids often have online textbooks AND physical books. They have folders, they have printouts of things. They have approximately 75 highlighters, mostly dried out, pens and pencils in all colors, rulers and hole punchers. They need something more than a dresser top on corbels.

Also, I don't know what "Starlight" is but it seems like a pretty nice place with a reasonable budget. So I am supposed to buy in to her office/laundry/craft room? Surely a household name deserves her own office, and one where she can keep things! Not a shelf! And the thing about laundry rooms, is IRL they almost always have laundry baskets in them. Usually more than one. That elegant room is all wrong, and who wants to work surrounded by laundry? And in our house laundry is nearly constant. It would be less so if people would use the 2nd, basement laundry room but only the cleaning person goes there. And you are really suggesting, that this room, with the hardwood and rug, is a place for kids to wash up after craft projects? Or a place to spray stain remover? God forbid you wanted to bleach something,On top of it all, it fails as a laundry since it has no laundry sink and not enough space to fold.

No worried Sarah is sooo anal she never has laundry baskets around, she can't let her kids make their beds...they would't do it to her standards...Functional is not her main issue it's always LOOKS and her world is white on pale blue.

Agree that the desks are too small to be useful, but she does create pretty settings. She is sooo Canadian! Cute accent. (To my ear)

Yes she does but honestly talent in decor means function and form.

Oh and as someone who has a marble desk top, don't. It is so cold I don't like to sit a it! It also has an eased edge that hits the underside of my forearm uncomfortably. It sure is pretty though.
