I'm looking for help deciding how to finish my fireplace. The walls in the room will be Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray. The fireplace dimensions are 5ft wide on the front and one foot deep on each side. It is approximately 14ft tall at the highest point of the vault. I've attached a picture. I'm open to any idea except the horseshoe mustashe mantle or subway tile because most of my home will have a modern look to it. I'm open to slabs(quartz or porcelain) or other types and shapes of tile. I've even considered using wood or mdf to do a a nice design and simply paint it out. I just haven't found a look or product that speaks to me. Help!
