I was thinking a natural woven blind with sheer. This small room is opposite dining room. Would window treatments have to all be the same?

Without seeing your furniture and overall style of the rooms, it is hard to suggest exactly what you need. Matching both rooms might be in order if it is open concept. Sometimes a room with less need for privacy or light control can use a simple faux roman shade that matches drapes in the other room. Are these what you're thinking?

Yes! I have that look in the bedroom and living room, however, my significant other asked me if there are too many of the same shades in the house? So, now I am doubting myself !

I have an open concept house with a mixture of natural woven roman shades & Hunter Douglas cellular shades top down/bottom up. I'm kinda of agreeing with your husband here. Do you really need the same shades, the same look in every room? I'd actually hate to cover up that beautiful mullioned window by placing a shade over it.

I just wanted to do sheers. He seems to want privacy since the neighbor is close to us on that side of the home. The window frame is so old and so pretty! I do want to keep the look.
