No we're not keeping that wall color. Yes I'm willing to make a few changes. The wall color we've selected is Comet Dust by Valspar (I'm in love with it). Do you have any suggestions?

@RL Relocation - so I'm really in love with earth tones and I'm trying to stick to a neutral palette so I can accommodate those colors. I'm really into sienna orange, browns and greens specifically. Here's a shot of a living room I like and my coffee table is about this color.

My curtains are like this exact color. And these are some couch pillows I'm considering.

I'm starting to look for rugs, and you'd think this would be easy but there are a number of issues. First, I think you may want to rethink the toss pillows. I am not sure they complement your sectiona.

Off white as seen below is not a good complement for the sectional. It makes the sectional look dirty.

On my monitor the sofa looks gray so not earthy at all so maybe say what color it is. Comet Dust is also a gray hue. IMO choose everything else including the rug before choosing a wall color, I guess my montior is not the best at colors.

Thank you all so much for your feedback. It's actually been very helpful. So my sectional is actually a light beige color but my lighting is terrible in this photo lol. It's not gray at all. In person it's the same color of the first couch I shared a picture of. Here's a closeup with MUCH better lighting. 😊

@RL Relocation, For a while I was looking at Jute rugs because I loved the texture and natural colors they came in and I felt they would be neutral enough to explore different colors with other design elements. After taking a step back I realize I want a rug that's a little softer, easy to clean and one that has a simple
design would be nice. It could be lightly abstract but I don't want anything with overwhelming patterns. I'm big on neutral colors. I'm thinking the material could be a cotton/ wool blend, polyester or possibly some other synthetic fiber. Really hope I answered your question lol.
