TV way too high...put it on a stand so that it is she level while sitting.

Artwork, table lamps, a larger rug and a chair facing the sliding door are needed.

What do you want to save? I think a new rug w at least some pattern would work better. That would be the first step imo

I think you could also get an accent chair as well.

Sell your matched set of end/coffee tables. Replace the coffee table with something round. Use "C" tables for the sofa. They come in lots of price ranges for your budget. Then add a credenza 25% wider than the TV and lower the TV to eye level.

What are some things you enjoy doing in this room? How many people do you usually need to seat? Is the room open with the kitchen? Any kids, pets?

@erinsean i like to watch tv it’s usually 2-3 people and my dog. it’s not open. theres a countertop bar

Could you post a pic of the other side of the room please?

View from couch

I am sure you will enjoy the TV more when it is lowered, How about a swivel accent chair on the side of the couch with a lamp on the table. A fun coffee table or ottoman and some art and you room will be nice and cozy.

I would make your TV wall your focal point. Lower your TV and put all your small objects on a shelf above it, storage and extra seating below. You might want to consider a larger rug. Add a cozy ottoman to put your feet up and to add some color. Hang a large, colorful painting behind the sofa.

You can also try bookshelves in the corner and pull your sectional out a bit:

Or like this:

Other ideas: Separate the sectional and have the chaise side facing the slider.
