I love floral art and usually have a soft spot for poppies. However, I voted for the third picture only because the background is a different color and gives you a bit more pop in the room.

I don't think the art work is the issue. If it was hung lower and framed in gold it would be lovely in the space. The issue is the drapery panels.

They are all so similar. I would search for some original art at local galleries, art fairs, or art schools for something that steals my heart. Nothing wrong with a blank wall till you find the perfect piece.

I like the art, something about the drapes is not agreeing with me.

I agree that wonderful things can be found on ebth but realize that there are no returns and always check the shipping charges ahead of time - they can be astronomical.

The drapes drag down everything you put in there.

I agree it’s the drapes! No matter what u put there it won’t work. My eyes are wondering way too much. The patterns on the curtains r too much with the art work. Pick one or the other. If u love the drapes go with a not so busy art work.

None of your selections is very interesting IMO. And it's mounted too high.

Take all the time you need to find artwork you LOVE! Since I don't know what that is, I'll tell you some of what I have: an oversized canvas reproduction of Nighthawks; a gorgeous print of The Great Gatsby's famous cover; a massive photograph of Paris bought at, of all place, Ikea; a smaller canvas print of Oil Field Girls; a small three-dimensional replica of a teardrop trailer, a three-dimensional wrought iron oversized key about 2.5 feet tall; and more.

I love, love, love each of those pieces and the rest of it. Regardless of when I bought, found or was gifted them the one thing they have in common is that they make me deliriously happy. They make my soul sing. They speak personally to me. What they also have in common is that they are not generic art.

Do the same! Be patient, very patient, and look at things in craft shows, online and more. Never settle. It may take years to complete a collection of your own but if a piece doesn't wrap itself around your heart it is not right for you or your home.
