I got pine installed, long planks that go the length of the room. I loved how they looked when first put it as i could see the lines between each piece and I liked how that definition looked. but then they put wood filler everywhere and it is light colored like the wood, so the room feels like one piece of wood. I wanted to see that separation more.

they have to put that wood filler in between?

also, i decided to not stain the floors any color as the colors they showed me were not so nice. And i though the natural look would be beautiful. So we are finishing it.. and cause it’s pine, its got this yellowish hue. im wondering if that’s a good way to go. My place is high ceilings and i intend to paint the walls a very very light gray and got inspired by parisian apartments with light natural wood floors.

First two pics are before the wood filler. the third and fourth pic are after the filler (wood color got lighter cause they sanded the filler, they will apply sealer again which will get it back to the previous color)
