When choosing the bottom enclosure material, first check with your insurance company. We shopped for a beach house a few years ago and walked away from one because the bottom was solid and not breakaway. Made the premium insane! But had it been breakaway, it wouldn't have been bad.

I would use a square (not diamond) lattice with open weave landscape fabric, to hid the storage but keep the light and air flow.

Thanks I think we are planning on only putting up the front and side(one side is enclosed concrete)and only doing partial back..not fully enclosing it in ~keeping that Gulf breeze and a sitting/table area under the shade.
