It is a tall house, so you want to make the beds at least 10-12’ deep to give room for 2-3 layers of plants. Plant far enough from the house so that at maturity you have room to walk behind them. No. I steady replaced all the windows with new Anderson windows and those are new moldings around the windows. We are putting black shutters and black gutters with the downspouts coming down the side of the house

No shutters on the larger window. Downspouts need to "disappear" vs. being highlighted.

The house will look a lot better with shutters (raised panel) on the small single windows.

The stoop needs to be as wide or wider than the door frame x enough depth to comfortably hold 3 people, and the landing from the stoop needs to be spacious. It would connect with a walk that is minimum 4' width, 5' better.

The current door surround is dwarfing the door. It is even too wide for the stoop.

I think the stoop should be enlarged in depth and width.

I like the shutters only on the single windows. But I do agree that the landing should be as wide as the trim on the door, if not a bit wider. I think if you build a portico, either flat roof or gable, the house will look complete and it is very practical to have a shelter when it rains.
