Is it actually an earthworm? If so, put it outside in the damp soil.

The photo is too low resolution to make out identifying features. Maybe if you could describe its color, size, where you found it, etc. If its in the soil, I would think it was fine to leave it there. Worms help with soil aeration and fertilization. If it was more like a millipede and it was munching leaves, that would not be ideal.

it's just an earthworm ... go fishing with it if you don't like it

If still there, just take it out & toss it outside in a garden.
