The Houzz forums aren't typically a place to receive tons and tons of input from pro plumbers. You might try reposting in a dedicated plumbing forum. Otherwise it sounds as though you have been very fortunate to receive good advice from a professional for free.

I went with a Wayne system which included the battery backup.... based on reviews/etc. I also installed a Zoeller smart sensor alarm type of system to text, email if water rises to a certain level. This was in preparation for finishing our basement.

So far so good!
