no . they both came in a 5 gallon pot . i planted one in dec. i bought and planted the second one in april .

Oh, you said you planted both 4 months ago. Probably need to see the entire plant. Is the whole plant wilting?

hi dave . i am sorry . i planted one tree in dec . and the second last month . they are both about 3 years old grafted . i planed them on a espilear wire. most of the trees is healthy but as you see from pic. some young branches is welting and losing leaves and die . thanks

If it's only one or two branches wilting and the rest are good, I would not worry too much about it. I'd be more concerned about possible frost coming in the next few nights. You may be OK down in Tenn.

I agree with Dave that a few fresh growth branches wilting is nothing to worry about. There is a small bug which bothers new growth on persimmons (causes crinkled leaves). I have some wilted new growth on my fruiting plants (persimmon, citrus, raspberry cane) that is wilted from just 30mph winds. sometimes it comes back if there is good weather for a few days, other times, it just dies back some. But overall, none the worse for wear in the long term.

thanks ken . we getting few cold nights ahead then i will start some sort of spray maybe neem oil . anything bothers new growth we had 40 degree last night. this morning all my plants new growth were wilting (citrus - fig ) . thanks
