These shutters were painted with something that has run down the house exterior. It is vinyl siding. I can remove the shutters and clean the stain with simple green. If I don’t replace shutters, how do I fill the holes from the screws? I will not be repainting. If I do install new shutters, what color ? The house body is what I would call “French Vanilla”. It is not a nice clean fresh yellow. Last year I added this aqua “hello” and painted the hand rail, too. The exterior door is navy blue behind the storm door.
