No idea...but it's very pretty!! Is it a tea rose??? That's all I got. LOL

What I ordered was a Tea, so I hope so but I don't know for sure. RPs has a wonderful huge selection. If I emailed photos maybe they could tell me. Sometimes first photos really don't tell the whole story, but this one I got has gorgeous buds and I hope some of the hot weather gardeners will know. I know you would recognize the cold area puzzles. I'd have better luck guessing those myself too.

What a beautifully delicate looking rose. The shape of it is really pristine and the color the perfect shade of shade of peach. I hope you find out who this treasure is. Any fragrance?

A beautiful plant, whatever it is! I've got no idea, really -- so hard with teas especially since they tend to change color so much. Maybe Rock Hill Peach Tea? Anna Olivier or Lady Roberts? Whatever it is, it looks great!

Sheila, something about it reminds me of Lady Hillingdon, but I thought you grew her already? I may be mis-remembering. But in any case, the bloom really favors LH. I can't recall the foliage specifics right now, but I'll go look at mine later today.

Thank you all. I do have Lady H John. I love her. She has a deeper yellow color here and different foliage. This plant seems more upright and prickly. I do have Anna Olivier too, and she and Reve d'Or are not this plant. I agree, she is a beauty and I have had wonderful plants come this mislabeled way.

I have allergies, but do detect lovely fragrance. Wonderful Cydney Wade from RPs is going to try to help. I forwarded photos.

Maybe Safrano??

The glitch here is that this plant has many prickles. Perma, the little second label I saved

also said Molly Sharmon-Crawford .I have SBG because I think that is Anna Olivier, which I have, and Safrano is low on prickles. HMF says Anna Olivier is related to Safrano. So, both low while this plant is so prickly. I'm wondering about Mlle Jeanne Phillipe, or Mme Melanie Willermoz at the moment. Anyone have them? Is aging warm white.

KS, Rock Hill Peach Tea is a possible. It fades white. Apparently, Dr. Manners and Brittie have this one according to HMF. I hope someone could go look at the prickles on that one. Cydney Wade said she had not heard of a mislabeled Molly S-C until mine. Brittie contributes wonderful photos and journal entries to HMF but I don't think she is on here.

Brittie used to post here though I don't think she does anymore. I hope Ya'll get it figured out Shelia! I know how frustating it can be.

The blooms definitely remind me of Safrano. To my eye, it is the leaves of your rose that do not appear consistent with Safrano. Young plants can grow out of and into showing what they are so I thought... maybe...

I hope Cydney can ID it for you, Sheilah. At least it is a very pretty old rose. All of my NOIDs have been bright yellow roses that would never complement the aesthetic of my garden at the time.

I have been really lucky to get great roses even if a surprise variety. Cydney at Rose Petals is also considering Rock Hill Peach Tea. I'm hoping she can tell me if it has mega prickles.

I have no idea why, but the first thought that came to my mind was Jaune Desprez. I had this rose once at another house and something about this one seemed similar. Probably wrong, but just another rose to throw out there for consideration,.

Thank you, Ingrid. I have not met that rose so far but HMF says it does have prickles. It is in the right color camp. I'll need to give it plenty of room if it is a noisette. These first blooms can be so misleading too. What it was supposed to be, MS-C, is so distinctive that it just cannot be that. This rose color has so many more possibilities.

I did an autopsy yesterday on a bloom each of my Georgetown Tea and Madame Lombard/Lambard which have come from ARE and almost always look identical to me. Cass did great photos in HMF describing the petal base as more pink white and with darker pink veins for Georgetown Tea, and more sulfur yellow base without veins for Madame Lombard. I think mine might both be Madame Lombard. Cass's photos are in the Georgetown Tea HMF.
