I love the idea of a gray sage. Go with a historical color like Gloucester Sage by Benjamin Moore. Or a tanish gold. Photo has BM Decatur Buff walls.

Thank you for your suggestions. The window treatments are definitely going just trying to pick a color first. I like the tarnish gold idea too!

I am leaning toward BM Clarksville grey HC-102 with dove white trim. Thoughts?

Mahogany has red undertones, you need a warm color to coordinate. The nhb22 color looks good. The Celerygirl colors clash with the furniture.

I used warm gray with orange undertone,it is a medium light shade of brown, so no any clashes. :-))

Lights, darks and more colourful colours from the same Hue Family can create a lovely cohesive look, but adding colours from different Hue Families can accentuate attributes of each other and add another layer of interest. Again it depends what you hope for,,,,
