My team and I were recently contacted by a contractor requesting a deep clean with additional services that we don't normally provide/ are not equipped to provide at this time. I'm just curious if anyone here has any experience with pricing the additional items.

Typically we charge $30 - $40 per hour, per person just for the cleaning inside the scope of our listed duties. Which I believe most cleaners/companies follow somewhat closely the same lists.

Additional requests were as follows:

Walls, top to bottom. Twice.

All cabinets and drawers wet wiped out.

AC grills wiped front and back

Furniture grooves with toothbrush, including legs, bottoms, etc.

Baseboard grooves with toothbrush

The home we will be cleaning in a few months is a hair over 5,000 SQFT. Something that size usually takes the 3 of us over 8-9 hours alone, pricing it around $1,000 +/-. Going by the additional items, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. The last thing I want to do is underprice this, as we all know that can be disheartening once you realize it on the job. I'm also tempted to pass on it because I prefer not to work with high maintenance clients. However, I would still like to hear thoughts/opinions about it and pricing. Thanks!
