Start with turning on the few lights you do have. Then take another pic. You’re gonna need a whole lot more lights, for sure.

So, keep the lights on is the first thing. Replace the existing recessed with LED with more lumens. Add recessed down the right hand race track. And looks like the end of the room where you are standing. All on dimmers. Consider using LED tape lights for under cabinet lighting instead of the spots, which create pools of light and dark. Tape lights will be more uniform.

Dark cabinets and dark floors need a lot more lumens. Changing one of those elements could certainly make things brighter.
