To me, it looks like you need a patio AND deck. The puzzle is to figure out what will happen on each one and gauge their sizes accordingly. Where's the kitchen? That usually makes a difference. More often then not, one would want the outdoor grilling area close to the kitchen and outdoor dining table also not far away. Whereas farther away might be more of a lounging area, fire pit or that sort of thing.
