I would start at www.roomandbaord.com. Order a catalog or surf and find pieces that would easily make this post modern condo dynamite.

Nicely modern and definitely neutral.

For chairs, since the space is small, I suggest chairs that take very little space visually and literally, and can be pulled up to the dining area if you have guests.

For the bedroom, how about a platform bed with built-in side table? Under the bed drawers would be good too.

Not a fan of sofas in such a small area. Using your floor plan, I would have a round coffee table with four to six swivel chairs around it, and where the dining table is now, replace with a rectangular table.

Do you have a picture as an example? I am having trouble visualizing it.

I would pretty much follow the layout they've provided. Just make sure your furniture is not oversized. Measure the walls and see if the drawing gives any reference like 1/2" = 1' so you'll know what size sofa to go with.

A sofa is going to be more comfy than a chair. The sofa with art above will be the focal point of the room.

Be sure you don't get too many little things it will only clutter your space.

Yes simple is best in everything you do...nothing too busy or too dense.
