Totally your plant, your choice. But that monstera is beautiful and an amazing specimen. If it were mine, I would take it off that cart because that seems so very unstable. I'd buy a short stand or bench for it that makes it about a foot off the floor and situate it in that same window. I'd construct a larger support for it. Then let 'er rip!

Lyvia, realizing you might have put the plant on the stand for the photo, it looks more like a large floor plant. After repotting, that corner by the window would be a good location, lots of light there as long as no direct sun.

It could stand a trim, but if you like the look just leave it alone. Just a thought, when you repot, you could add a second moss pole for more support, maybe angle the old one left and the new one right, like a trellis. If you're handy, add a horizontal wood strut (maybe 1x2) halfway up to join the posts. This will keep the posts from sagging and add stability. You'll probably have to rearrange vines when adding and angling the posts.

Don't go too big when repotting, a huge pot of soil will take a long time to dry out, and the roots can rot if it's used to being root-bound and dry. Heavy ceramic or clay pots are good for stability for floor plants.

This looks like the faster growing, smaller leaved Borsigiana variety of Monstera deliciosa, rather than the huge species.

@Russ1023 (central Fla) how can you tell it is the faster growing, smaller leaved borsigiana?

From what I can see in the photos there's no 'ruffled' geniculum at the top of the leaf stem where it meets the leaf blade. The large variety would look proportionally much bigger and you'd notice the ruffling on the stem.
