Hello! We are hoping to improve our fireplace area in our great room and make it less boring! We are considering painting the black cabinetry - and\or we could paint the wall, or tile..in fact we are open to any suggestions. We need to keep the TV as this is where we watch but hoping we can make this area more appealing! I have done a couple of "mock ups' see below, one painting the fireplace and the other painting the wall above the fireplace. I wondered whether painting the wall to the ceiling may make it feel too high for the room? Any suggestions gratefully appreciated!
