It looks like a tree sapling. Do you have any trees in the neighborhood that resemble this? Maple? Not sure. If it is a tree, it looks worth potting up to see if you can grow it for a location of your choosing, or leave it to grow where it is.

I have a red maple in my yard...maybe that’s it?

That is a pretty seedling, I'd love it in my yard. :-)

It is a maple, either a red maple or a red maple hybrid. Sapling leaves are sometimes a bit different in shape.
