Hi there!

I have a 4 year old monstera deliciosa that is about 5ft tall and I have recently noticed really small brown/orange dots on the upper sides of its leaves. They are really really small and are only noticeable if you look up close.

Most of the leaves with them on have nothing unusual on the underside of the leaf. The dots are flat and can’t be removed if you rub the leaf.

I have never had this problem before and I have an inkling it might be a rust problem but it looks so dissimilar from any rust issues I’ve seen before!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, this is one of my oldest and most beloved plants!
