What is that column in the photo? Interesting location for the sink. Natural wood vanity and a bath mat can cozy up the room. You could put a wood vanity under the mirror where it usually goes. Or keep the wall mounted faucet (and save plumbing costs) and put a floating wood vanity with vessel sink. Definitely address the electrical outlet, it is too close to the water from the faucet, should be flush with wall, needs to be GFI or GFCI, and may violate local building code.both of these woods look good with black and white tile.

Thanks Marylut! The column is the current sink - at least that’s what I think you were referencing as a column? We had an inspection when buying the house and the outlet placement didn’t come up, but I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for your ideas on the sinks!

Ahh, sink in a column, saw those in Italian hotels. Is used to make small space seem bigger by taking up less floor space. Floating vanities do the same thing if you have a small bathroom. I used a cone shape vanity in my teeny powder room, but not enough storage for a family bathroom.
