the brick and roof are too close in color and dark. need a lot of landscaping . consider extending the walkway and creating a patio up front w fountain / statue and use bright shrubs, small trees to ground the house. create a secondary sitting area to enjoy your house and garden

I love your house. And the comments you’ve received here will certainly enhance it greatly. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is that beige stripe of siding over the door. It’s not an accent so I think it needs to be painted the same color as the house and, as previously mentioned, the window trim needs to go from white to black. I would remove the railing by the steps and do something more impressive. The door suggestions here are right on target, as is the suggestion to widen the walkway so it is the same width as the stairs. The tree on the blank wall is probably pretty when in bloom but you need something more impressive year round, which will probably be an evergreen. I would contact a local nursery for suggestions. The only other landscaping issue would be to extend the bed down the length of the walk. Certainly not a big project. Of course the blue trash can needs to be moved to someplace off center stage. I think a lot could be accomplished at the entry landing. I love the suggestions you’ve received here for doors. In addition, I would suggest a large, handsome lantern for this area with impressive street numbers underneath and a big pot in a neutral color where you could put colorful, seasonal plants. I’d start with all that & then come back if you think you need more. Fun projects!

Definitely paint the front door a stand-out color. Paint the white window trim black to match others.
