Help with grout stuck to tile

We put porcelain tile on our front porch. We used grout with a sealer. We wiped the tile after done grouting. Went back to do another wipe down and the grout that was left behind on the tile was dried. How can we get that grout removed without damaging the tile? Thanks for any help.

The only way I know to get cured grout off of anything is with muriatic acid and a kitchen. It's caustic and highly fumaceous so use lots of caution. Don't wear shorts or good clothes. Experiment with a small sample to know it will work without causing something bad. Do not apply and leave unattended for any length of time. Also, be careful of where you rinse/wash the acid to.

What grout did you use. Most have a recommended cleaner if you look at the manufacturer’s website. Some, nothing works after it sets. It’s a redo. Some an acidic cleaner can work.
