Will an HRV system properly vent humidity from a steam room?

we built our house 2 years ago and have an Aldes HRV system that was required to meet the building code. Our HVAC contractor told us we didn't need extra bathroom fans, that the ventilation ducts from the HRV would be enough to handle the humidity. Each bathroom has its own HRV control panel.
We're finishing a 6' x 7' steam room in the one bathroom. We've been told not to place a fan inside the steam room itself. We've tried to do some research but there are conflicting opinions on whether or not our HRV vents are enough to vent all the steam that might come out if the steam room after we're done.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! We'd like to avoid avoid installing another bathroom fan if possible, it would look rather silly since it would end up being about a foot away from the HRV duct/vent.
