Surprise for my daughter. Need accessorizing suggestions.

This is a surprise for my daughter who is at camp. She is turning 16 this fall and has outgrown her little girl pink and brown bedroom. I went to TJMaxx today and got inspired by the new bedspread she picked out. i got her this amazing mirror.... plus 600 ct sheets in soft green, and swapped out most of her little girl items (I didn't throw anything away. Just put them in boxes.... 6 huge Rubbermaid containers worth). I chose a bunch of picture frames (I'm going to have her pick out the pictures when she gets back) and accessories in green, shiny silver, white and brown. I love the fun fluffy rug, and I also put bamboo mats on either side of her bed. But I needs more pop. We can't paint the walls, so I'm looking for some suggestions of what to add.... Or did I nail it?

I'd love any ideas you may have. I know she will love it but is it missing something???

Try to de-clutter the dresser top and put the chest flat on a wall if you have one. Without seeing the bed and the other walls in the space it is difficult to help much. My guess is the bamboo mats are too small and so is the fluffy rug. Have you considered painting the furniture?

Thank you. It's so cool you mention the montage of pics. I've actually started pulling a few together to do something like that. I hadn't thought of doing the sepia. These are great ideas. Thank you both!

difficult to see it all however seems lighting and accent lighting is needed or something to shake it and shape it all together for continuity as viewed seems a bit hard to see any theme? bn

Let her make some selections when she gets home.... She will make it her own. That is so sweet of you to do!

It's pitch black out. During the day the room is flooded with sunshine. She has two lights on the other side...each side of her bed. What kind of light do you recommend? In terms of theme... She has a few women she follows on YouTube and she likes their rooms and style, so thats what I'm trying to mimic. Fortunately her furniture is similar to them as well. Plus....one has her room all in grays and white. And the other is white and brown. But since my daughter loves the soft green in her bedspread I pulled that in. She likes traditional stuff and eclectic styles that mix things up a little. She doesn't like modern. She loves wood. ...

Could you bring in some pattern or an accent color with floor pillows? If brown and white are her thing, perhaps you could experiment with darker and lighter browns and different scales of pattern. What about a wall of removable wallpaper as an accent in the room - behind the mirror or the bed?

Post a pic of the bed and lamps so we can advise. The green is not registering on my screen. I thought the pattern on the spread was in sepia tones.

Ok, here are pics....edited down her dresser top. (She uses the tall one to do her hair and makeup, not this one. This one has always been for show) also here is the fabric print. There are two shades of sage green plus a burnt umber brown (not sepia) Also her nightstand and the lamp styles. Before she left she spoke of a cork board headboard, so it w my plan for us to build that together (see inspiration picture also for above the bed) she has pillow shams as see that match the bedspread but I need to buy her more pillows. I want her to pick out the type and firmness.

Sorry for typos! I'm trying to type on a screen not a keyboard... :)

Think about some of her favorite colors start off with one thing. Pick out a wall color or comforter and then design it around that
