This is as far zoomed in my phone cam would get and it made it too blurry to really tell what it is. The video is a little better and I could get anything to compare show the size.

I think that may be them. It's hard to get a really good look since they are so darn small. They just kinda appeared one day and there were so many it baffled me.

The last photo in my main post is the corner of the raised bed. It had about a dozen, but they didn't show in the photo.

My phone is a HTC One M9. The brand is totally underrated and they make really decent phones. Their models get discontinued quickly because they don't have the publicity of more common brands like Apple and Samsung. This model has better cameras then HTC's newest model which is U11, I believe.

It was making me so nervous. put so much time into building everything and getting it ready. I have young plants I started from seed indoors that I just transplanted and had just sown many indoor germinated veggie seeds. I didn't want to risk losing everything so early on and having to start over. I really appreciate your help, thank you!

and that might be what is confusing me about your statement above ... is your floor dirt above plywood..

or do you mean your raised beds.. perhaps... tables.. have plywood under your media???

I'm sorry for the confusion using the term dirt. Let me explain a little better. We have a black walnut tree in our backyard, and because of that, we were limited to building a garden structure to overcome the downside of the walnut tree. Because of the remains of an old tree stump and walnut tree roots, we had to raise the whole hoop house to level it properly. We built the whole floor with untreated pine plywood before building the raised beds. After it was leveled, we built the raised beds on top of the untreated plywood using untreated 4x6 pine planks (we used 2 planks per side to get 12 inches of soil depth for planting in). We then filled the 3ft by 8ft raised beds with a mix of miracle grow organics raised bed soil and Kellogg brand raised bed and container soil. We attached pvc piping to the outside of the raised beds to create a support and frame to cover the structure with clear 6MIL greenhouse poly film. This will prevent our garden from falling walnut debris that could negativity impact certain vegetables. I hope this provides a better understanding. Please see my photo.

Something led to a population explosion but they will probably mostly disappear soon. Sometimes you just get waves of critters and it can be really hard to pinpoint why. At least they aren't black widows!
