help with kitchen layout

Hi everyone! I would like to redo my kitchen due to aging cabinets. And possible alter the laundry/mudroom too. The best part of the kitchen is the giant bay window above the sink. But because of that I don't have enough cabinet space. The kitchen doesn't have good flow with the rest of the house. The family room is also dark due to an adjoining sunroom addition, and is very cut off from the rest of the house due to a narrow opening from the kitchen. The only upper cabinets I have near the sink is where the plan shows the stove. My stove is in the peninsula next to the breakfast area. The cabinets to the left of the fridge house a micro/oven combo and a desk area, which can be turned into cabinets. We replaced the french doors with sliders in the breakfast nook so we could actually open the door. There are too many doorways in the kitchen, and they are all narrow. A neighbor bumped the fridge wall back a foot or two to make space for an island, but I'm not a fan of skinny islands. That is a load bearing wall. Any brilliant ideas? I'd love to add on 6 feet to the back of my house but trying to avoid spending a fortune. Thanks!
