Wow! That is a beauty and so glad your season has begun! There are bound to be a lot of beauties for us to see. I hadn't heard about Bounce strips , but so far have been blessed with just one incident a few years ago regarding deer.

Nice to see you get started although it sounds like you may be dodging raindrops to get photos! My neighbor has seen deer between our houses so I sprayed Bobbex last week. We have had two huge rains since so I may need to refresh! I remember your previous photo of all your Bounce strips blowing in the breeze! I saw on one nursery site where they use Vick’s Vapor Rub dotted throughout the garden. I have not tried that but they indicated it lasted through several rains.

Good to see your season is starting. Kiss of Paradise does have an interesting pattern. Hmmm, those deer never forget where to go for a selection of goodies. Hope the Bounce will keep them away.

So glad to see your season starting, I know I will be starting soon. KOP looks really good, so many patterned daylilies don't seem to have patterns or me. I think it was Alex that was asking me about which of my daylilies are scented. I have not paid too much attention, not sure I would want to if they were covered with Vicks! That should turn the deer off. Hope it works

That's a nice pattern on Kiss of Paradise. We grow it but have never seen it pattern like that.

Those dratted deer! We have been lucky this season and haven't seen that they have chomped on anything, but we did see deer tracks through a newly plowed seedling bed. I hope you can drive away yours.

First bloom of the season , . Lovely pattern on this one . Second bloom will be even better no doubt. and then they will take off and you will lose yourself in lovely blooms
