Contemplating tearing out the lavender as well....

Many possibilities, I think...overwater, underwatering, iron deficiency or deficiency in other minerals like calcium...can you get your soil tested? Does it drain well from the planter?

overwatering so we cut way back last month. It made no difference with the citrus but i could tell the lavender needed more water so we just upped the sprinklers last week. It’s been quite warm in Southern CA this paat

month.

i will look into getting the soil tested... it was all new soil last year when we planted so I didn’t think it could be lacking anything...

The two times I have had my potted citrus start to yellow, the first was a case of a black walnut that a squirrel had buried in the pot; the second turned out to be iron deficiency.

It did take them a while to fully green up again but the yellowing didn't get worse so I knew that I'd found the causes.
