There is a wealth of information listed on this site. Just do a search for induction. The only con's I can think of is that you will need to supply at 220V circuit if you don't already have one in place. I recommend no less than 50 Amps. If your cookware is not induction compatible then you will need all new cookware. If you like to char food, then induction does not do this very well. Beyond that, induction is the only way to go.
