Mice infested refrigerator and ate food!

I opened up a summer house 2 weeks ago. No sign of Mice droppoiung. then I Opened the refrigerator door, and Mice infested refrigerator and ate food!

I scoured clean with heavy duty cleaning products, laid traps.1 week later,they're back. Applicance store said," in winter they usually get into stoves, ovens. Rare to have them in fridge." HELP!

Evidence that they somewhere chewed through the cavity liner?

The defrost drain may also be a route of ingress but the drain pipe typically is quite small.

Mice can squeeze through a hole the size of a pencil, so that little drain they might be able to handle.

Just one bite rat poison bars. Go to Amazon, buy some and leave a very generous amount in fridge and surrounding areas. In a few days your rat problems will be over. Warning, if you have any other critters you want around such as squirrels, raccoon's etc, do not use this stuff. It does not discriminate. Amazon

They don't mention the type of refrigerator they have. I can't imagine mice getting into a Fridge, unless its made of wood. Perhaps if you leave the Fridge running and its cold as Fridges get, they won't want to spend anytime in it...they love warmth.
