My scrappy, wonky dolly quilt.

I had 146 HSTs left after I finished my Pineapple Blossom quilt. They were not consistent in size, because I was not careful when stitching. I had no desire to trim them all to a perfect size, so rather than just throw them away or stash them away, I threw together this 29" square doll quilt top. I didn't worry about points or seams - I just sewed away - so it's pretty wonky. I may piece together some scrap minky for the backing, or not, I haven't decided yet. The only problem is that I don't have a little girl in mind for it. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to judge my quilting skills by this quilt. It was just done to avoid waste. I may use it to try some different FMQ patterns.
