Hi, all,

This damage appeared almost overnight on a jalapeño plant that is being grown outdoors in Illinois. I have been treating a nearby plant for thrips for about three weeks, but I have not been able to find any live bugs or feces on this mew plant. I did catch one thrips flyer on a sticky blue trap, but only one. Am I looking at thrips predation here or something else. Any guidance is much appreciated.
