Hello all of you.

I am sure my comments seemed awfully disjointed to you when this post suddently appeared on your site. As my post was not uploading, (I waited over five minutes while the "post" blinked) I hit this site as it was the only one Houzz was listing tas a suggestion that I add sites when posting to the daylily forum. I don't believe it posted to them, but I will answer your questions as best I can.

I live in Alabama, noelinez and have been growing daylilies for about twelve years now. I do have daffodils, houssaon, but they bloom in late January, very early February here. I also have a lot of roses and a vegetable garden with squash and tomatoes already on the vines. Lilacs will not grow here but gardenias bushes are four to six feet tall and covered with blooms. That is a gardenia in the left back side of the fifth photo. Delphiniums which I love, won't grow here either.

Missi, your plants will be blooming soon and I am at peak right now. so when your bloom starts I will be dealing with miserable heat and humidity and fewer blooms.

felizlady, My greenhouse is close to the house, and shed has a rose garden to its facing right. The comment on the work needing doing is because I am always hearing about how immaculent my beds are and wanted to show that this is not the case. The work to be done is due to my lack of mulch during this coronavirus scare. The path needs resetting and I now have mulch and will be spreading it if the rain ever stops and the ground dries,

It is hard to know what to advise when you can see only part of the picture, but your advice is excellent considering. Thank you for your suggestions. I have another seating area in the lower yard, and love to sit in the blue bench you see, with my coffee enjoying the bluebirds and butterflies.
