cleaning dead mouse smell from concrete

We recently got rid of a hot tub that had not been used for several years. On the concrete pad underneath was a layer of rat feces that was so thick, it totally covered the concrete. That has been cleaned up but the smell is intolerable. Suggestions on how to rid the concrete of the smell?

You can try an enzyme based cleaner, many are found on Amazon. I wouldn’t bother with Odo-Ban, etc. as they merely mask the odor on such surfaces. I have the same issue with dog urine stains/smell on patio pavers. Since concrete is porous the problem can literally run deep. Good luck.

Soak the area with bleach. Leave on long enough for it to soak deep into the concrete. Rinse and let dry.
