It seems Complex Complexities was appropriately named, a different bloom every day! Early blooms are great even if the colors aren’t ideal to your eye, just a pleasant sight after winter and wonky spring.

It appears you will never know what you will get with Complex Complexities! Hence, the name I suppose! Glad to see your blooms are progressing.

Any bloom this early is a nice bloom to have. CC's eye still wows me. I want to reach out and put pollen on now. Our night temps are going to getting down in the 50s over the next four days, so I imagine yours are too. That will translate to muddy colors and bad openings for a few days.

Do you think it may be your soil or is that what Caribbean Eye Spy actually should bloom like? Your season is progressing.

Julia, this morning Caribbean Eye Spy looks a little more pink than beige, which is more like I remember. Of course, I am noticing it more because I moved it last fall. It really is a good performer. I will try to get a picture in a little bit when it opens up a little more. Drizzling and cool here this morning.

I do like the different looks of Complex Complexity, Heather. Lambertsons don't usually do well for me, what was I thinking. This one may be an exception, it went from 3 fans last spring to 5, maybe 6, this spring. Looks healthy and vigorous. I got Multiple Multiplicities last spring too, it has not multiplied. I got it as a single fan, it is as big or bigger than when I got it though and has sent out a scape. Maybe they will be a Lambertson exception for me.

I thought I would have at least 2 more plants blooming this morning, but they are being stubborn to open, just a big, big fat buds, but just not going to do it. They know I am in a hurry to see blooms.
