My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Bunkbeds: finish carpentry or millwork?

I am building a house and would like custom bunk bed built ins (2 bunks/4 beds). My builder gave me an estimate of $32k based on millwork. $10k for finish carpentry

Can someone give me a sense of what those 2 options would look like ? I’m not sure what the difference is
