Have you seen more scorching this year?

This is an odd question, but I am curious.

In the ground, I have 2 'Fireglows,' (10-14 years in the ground?) an 'Otaki' (12 years) a 'Red Emperor' (14 years) and some London Plane trees, (13 years)

These are unwisely in full sun, which is horrendous here -- later in the year.

This spring, my 16 year old 'Otaki's' leaves, all over the top, scorched!

My 'Fireglows' the same way.

Even my London Plane trees are exhibiting strong scorching!

This is a first for me, let alone this early in the year, with such a wet spring.

Dare I say 'Global warming' with more UV rays getting through? Yet other trees, my 'Trompenburg,' 'Sherwood Flame,' 'Brocade,' 'Bloodgoods,' and about 30 others I have in the ground are not exhibiting this scorching.

What's your opinion?
