Infinity is designed more as a replacement where as the Essential was more for New Construction. Both can be used as both, but that is the rationale behind the split. Infinity is fine, but I find the Elevate to be prettier.

Elevate is typically less money as well.

Am I correct in saying that Elevate has a wood interior, while Essential and Infinity are 100% fiberglass? That's why I am trying to compare Infinity with Essential rather than with Elevate. Thank you.

What did you decide? Currently looking at the Infinity line.

Infinity has a stainable fiberglass interior while Essential are limited to a few solid colors on the inside like white, tan, grey, and brown. Other than that, they are built exactly the same way.

And the Elevate has a real wood interior. Which can be stained to any color you choose.

Does your Marvin sliding door operate really smooth as in how it glides ?

Antonio: Yes. Opens and closes with a pinky. If yours does not, reach out to Marvin through your distributor. Their repair tech is lonelier than the 1970s Maytag repairman. He replaced my sliding screen door with a newer model that has wheels.
