IMO right now you have real hodge podge of furnishings that make choosing a rug a bit of a problem. I love the bed but not the headboard unless the mirror goes and the dresser is painted white. I love the mirror and I would cover the headboard in a nice plain velvet to be more in the same look as the mirror. You need much larger lamps and then a rug could be something more traditional like a Persian for instance. BTW take the picture above the bed away. You also then would need drapes on the window.
