Ever find out what was wrong?

Loveclivia, I just returned here after being gone for literally years, and spotted your post from last year about your Clivia loosing its lower leaves. It looks like papnnana asked about it last month, but you have not responded, so am wondering if you sill have the plant or have you just lost interest, or did you get it figured out and now have a house full of these plants?

In case you are still interested, I'll throw in my .02. I'm going to say you took the photo nowhere close to where you are growing the plant. They like shade, but not as much as yours appears to be getting. The leaves are dark green, long and spindly, indicating its not getting enough light. The leaves normally shed from the bottom, but are normally yellow when they do. I would try growing it on the dry side, with a bit more light and see if it won't perk up and make you a nice plant. It appears to have been well on its way, and I believe you can turn it around and make it a nice plant. They ARE fun and easy.
