Do you have a measured drawing? The aisles appear small.

What width is the range? Ideally the hood should be 6” wider than the range, even moreso if the hood will have a cabinet surround. And make sure you have the correctly-sized duct for it.

You should replace some of those base cabinets with base drawers. Please provide a drawing with measurements or we can’t help you with details.

Navy blue seems very dark. Is there ample lightening? Why not accents of navy blue? Also I agree with all the Shannon. There’s a lot of cabinets going on maybe do drawers. Deep ones for pots and pans.

The measurements of aisles are not labeled (eta, eyeballing it, I'd guess 42" between the range and island, and 48" between the island and hutch--could be better, but both are adequate and within the NKBA recommendations). I agree that the bases should be drawers wherever possible (not ROTS which add an extra step). I would reduce the single bowl sink to 30" and add 3" to a drawer base to the right, to give you a wider prep space. You can use an under-sink trash pull-out. Or, have an integrated cutting board made to fit over part of the sink, to increase the prep counter--NKBA recommends a minimum of 36".

I think Shannon meant to say 'if the hood will not have a cabinet surround', but yours has cabinets on each side, so while it's better to have a wider hood, especially with a high-power range, the cabinets on each side will help with capture of grease and steam.

Thanks for all the comments. Going to add more drawers for the pots and pans. Still leaning toward blue with lighter white-ish countertops. We are thinking about getting a matte finish on the countertops. Any issues with Matte vs Glossy?
